What's for dinner?

Hey Ya'll!  So the guy didn't call me about my interview until right before I would have needed to leave so I had a whole day off...Spent part of my day playing around with my foodnetwork recipe manager software I bought..   It's decently amusing for a few seconds but isn't as amazing as the box made it sound...   Spent the rest of my day in grocery stores.. Haha..   Was actually fun though..   Got like 6 different types of cheese..  Spent way too much money at Fresh Market-which led to my decision for dinner..   Peel and eat shrimp boiled in cajun seasoning, whole wheat shell pasta with a cheese sauce, (whipping cream, whole milk, flour, salt, pepper, and four different kinds of cheese including asaigo, smoked gouda and obvously two more that I can't remember the name of and buttered garlic sourdough bread.   I cheated and bought it pre made, but it was super fresh.. there was still condensation on the package from the steam....    I would have taken you a picture of my delicious dinner but it was gone before I had a chance to...  

I have tomorrow morning off and I'm going to make french toast out of sourdough bread..  haven't decided what else I'm going to fix with it...  but i'm super excited about it!

You're a cupcake

 Hello there! 
So I know it's been a while since my first post but I'm back :)  Apparently January is the month for Birthdays in my world and I made my very dear friend Ken and Jeremy some cupcakes to help them celebrate.  Ken is a huge fan of 2001: a space odyssey so I made him some outer space themed cupcakes with a fondant HAL 9000 and Jeremy likes Super Mario a lot so I made him some Mario themed cupcakes...

 I was supposed to have an interview today with another retail store, but the interview was going to be in Birmingham at 5..   I would have to leave at 11 to make it there by 5 and he JUST now called me to tell me where it is going to be..   So I guess I'm just not going to go...   Even though I'd like to get away from one of my jobs I just signed a lease for a house in Midtown with Tyler, Johnhenrey and Tori so I'm pretty much stuck here anyway.. 

I plan on making something yummy for dinner tonight..  I just don't know exactly what..  Any ideas?

Hello there!

Today was a mildly eventful day.  I almost had a full day off from work (to add to yesterday which was my first full day off other than Thanksgiving and Christmas since September).  I got most of my laundry done then Tyler and I went to Huey's for Lunch.    Yesterday was his birthday, the big 24.  I made him a cupcake of course.   It was delicious devils food cake with dark Ghirardelli chocolate chips baked in.. (thanks to the bakery where I work) It was topped with chocolate buttercream frosting that had semi sweet Ghirardelli chips mixed in..  It didn't look very um.. pretty I guess, but OMG it tasted amazing..    Oh, I forgot to mention the cake was filled with chocolate mellow cream which is pretty much marshmallow fluff cream cheese powdered sugar and cocoa powder (deliciousness)..   I also made a cute little processor out of fondant and put on top for him..   It was adorable and very fitting if you know Tyler..
